Fluttering Sympathies

This card was pretty quick once I corraled all the punched butterflies. I was using up scraps from a previous card and have enough to create one more. Butterflies are my go to for sympathy cards. The colors are outside my comfort zone, but the beauty of Basic Grey stacks is you know they will all coordinate.

Springtime Smiles

It's been raining all day in southern MN, which means Spring is here! The snow has been gone for awhile and the grass has greened up nicely. The iris' are peeking their stems out and it won't be long until there's an explosion of color outside my door. Today I'm sharing a totally spring-filled card for a friend.

Quilted Sympathy

This card has been bouncing around in my head for awhile. I had fun making a paper quilt with some gorgeous Basic Grey papers. I was so inspired, I created 2 more cards using the rest of my 'quilt scraps'. I'll try to finish them off and get them posted soon!

This is sketch I've been pondering for over a year! It's from last years challenges at 365 cards that I am still trying to finish out.

Live With Passion

Sorry I haven’t been posting lately. I thought I had set up some scheduled posts, but that didn’t happen. I could try blame blogger but I'm fairly certain is was user error. So, I had to go through all of the posts and update any outdated info and hope to get about 4 posts fixed shortly.

This card is for a person who helped me though a difficult time the past few years. I was fortunate to have them in my corner for sound advice and support. Unfortunatley their assoication with me put them in a position to be attacked by the same parties trying to control me. Thankfully all has been put to rest and we are both able to finally turn our attentions to living honest and joyous lives without added drama. I thought the sentiment and image were appropriate considering all we've been through.

Use 2 colors that you don't usually use together (or even like together) as the dominant shades. While I LOVE purples, I'm not into oranges and yellows.

Dotty Delmar

The DT at One Stop Crafts was given some fun images from Dude Time Doodles to play with this week. They are sponsoring our Spots and Dots challenge. When I first saw Downtown Delmar I wasn't sure what to make of him; but once I started playing, everything fell into place. There's still time to play at the OSCC, so come and show us your spots. You could win free images from Dude Time Doodles.

I was inpired by several other awesome challenge blogs and can't wait to give this card to the perfect cool dude.

Egads, I'm already a month into the 365 Card Challenges and I'm WAAAAAY behind (I still have a few from last year I'm trying to wrap up). I may have stretched the challenge a bit, but having a verse on the front counts as alphabet - right? And see all those dots - they are circles!
