Buttoned Valentine

I have a few Valentine's to share with you today. For some reason I was sure Valentine's Day was tomorrow. Hmm, not sure how I missed it. I did a double take when I heard the news lady say Happy Valentine's Day this morning. Good thing I'd already made Mr. Gears his card! We work opposite shifts so we won't even get to see each other. Tomorrow night he has off so I imagine that's when we'll soak up the love. :o)

Granny on the Go

This card was a lot of fun to make. I discovered I Brake for Stamps Humorous Senior’s line on another craft blog and had to check them out. Ahem, a ‘few’ dollars later I received my very own to play with. There are amazing stamps at IBS, but this line is my favorite. The sentiments alone make me chuckle. Watch for more of these cuties on my blog in the upcoming weeks. I’m sure they’ll all get inky soon.

I have a few OTA (older than average) college friends and this card was perfect for one of them who just compelted an especially daunting semester. She’s not quite as old as my violet haired granny, but she’ll get a kick out of the card. It makes me think of that wonderful freeing feeling after the last final exam.
