All That Stickles Linky Party is Live

I have some SUPER exciting news to share. There's a new blog on the block, All That Stickles, and I was asked to be on the Design Team! Can you hear my WAHOO??? If you've been following me for awhile, you might have guessed I love a 'bit' of sparkle and Stickles have been my go to since I first discovered them. The Design Team is SO excited to share our love of Stickles. I'd love to see you join in our linky parties and if you are Facebook user, like https://www.facebook.com/allthatstickles for more tips and techniques.

Every Saturday at All that Stickles will mark the beginning of a new weekly linky party. Each week we will designate a color of regular Stickles (usually not Distress Stickles, or Ice Stickles, but every once in a while we may throw those in there) and invite you to share projects you've made using that particular color of Stickles!

And don't forget about the prizes! Every month we will have multiple sponsors and multiple winners! Winners are not announced on a weekly basis, but rather on a monthly basis. The more times you link up, the more chances you have to win! Sponsors will be announced at the beginning of the month and then posted on the sidebar for the rest of the month, and the winners will be announced on the first Saturday of the next month. So February winners will be announced on Saturday March 2nd.

Clown Celebration

Have I mentioned that Mr. Gears is a real, live clown? It's no joke, he's a member of the Shrine Funsters and has more make up than me. We are creeping up on the big Shrine Circus in Minneapolis, MN so things are a bit goofy around our house. I was initially inspired by the color inspiration we're holding at One Stop Craft's. As soon as I saw the inspiration picture I thought of the bright, fun colors of the circus.

Thanks for looking! Spicey Cat Chick =^..^=

I LOVE Rick St. Dennis images, the clowns and kitties are my favorites
I was inspired by the colors and the ROUNDness of the rings
I’m stretching this a bit. I know balloons make a loud noise when they pop, and clowns make all kinds of funny noises when they perform.

Happy Birthday Mr. Gears

Wahoo! Today is Mr. Gears birthday! I am truly blessed to have such a kind hearted and supportive husband. He encourages and appreciates my crafting and I am always thrilled to tag along and support his hobbies. A few years ago he joined the Shriner Funsters and we've both had a ball spreading good will. Mr. Gears is ramping up for the circus in 3 weeks. The Funsters volunteer during the event mingling with the public before the shows. They also perform a short skit during intermission. I was able to attend last year and hope to do the same this year. I found these great images form Rick St.Dennis and knew they'd be perfect for my sweetie.

Since this is a REALLY old challenge I’m going to go with the 5 out of 6 majority so I can cross it off my list. :o)

Krafty Clown

Wahoo! Had some time to work on a few more UFOs from my craft desk. I colored a sheet of Rick St. Dennis’s amazing clown images months ago and finally got one of them on a card. I rarely color with anything but Copics and had Kohi-nohr pencils in my supplies begging to be used. I like the look of the pencils on Kraft paper and opted to just leave them ‘rough’ instead of any blending.

I'm blessed to me the other half of a part time clown and can't resist playing in his clown kit when he's not looking.
