Happy Birthday Zach

Wahoo! Today is my nephew’s 20th birthday. I couldn’t be a prouder auntie as he’s taking the steps into adulthood. This pic is a few years old, but it’s one of my favorites. He’s very talented musically (vocally, instrumentally, etc.) I usually make a music themed card, but opted for a friendly kitty this year. I did you use the DCWV Rockstar stack, although he’ll never know that. Wouldn't this pic make a great album cover?

Penny Black Halloween

Wahoo! I'm back. It's been far too long since my fingers played with my craft supplies. Life has been beyond stressful as I've tried to take care of my mom's estate and still try find to start the grieving process. I was glad to spend Saturday escaping from reality and inking up paper. It might take awhile to get my groove back, but it's a start. I'm WAY behind on the 365 Card Challenges, but will try to work a few in with each of my creations. Penny Black Fowl Graduation

My second graduation card of the night. My ducks are hiding their lack of ‘chicken-ness’ by wearing graduation caps. I used the color inspiration from Penny Black and Gina’s Stamp TV. I keep true to Red, Black and White by using Grey (a shade of black) and the Palest Pink (a shade of red) to outline the beaks and feet.
