Simple Sympathy

Hello all, is it just me or is Blogger being a bugger? I had several posts saved as drafts but when I went in to edit them for posting none of the photos showed up and everything keeps moving when I'm working on it. FREAKY! I just started from scratch and we'll see how it goes. This is a quick and simple sympathy card I made. I try to keep several on hand and unfortunately, they always seem to get used too quickly.

Diggin’ Birthday for Eli

This card was created for our friends little boy, Eli, on his 3rd birthday. Eli is ALL boy and loves to play rough and get dirty. The last time Mr. Gears went to visit, he and Eli played rodeo and took turns tying each other up with a jump rope. The go to game is to play with anything that has wheels and a motor. Mr. Gears is HAPPY to oblige!

Another Christmas card that didn't get finished until after the holiday; and another one ready for this year! I might have to leave out my Christmas stamps all year just to get on top of things by the actual holiday. I'm SO excited Priscilla and her awesome DT are back with the Midnight Madness Sketches. Thankful Pumpkin Mice

I'm still cleaning off my desk and found another image I started coloring last year. I started playing with it last month for a Thanksgiving card, but since I had an inpromptu road trip my little mice were stranded in the studio. Silly Christmas Mice

I love House Mouse and Friends stamps and have a LARGE inventory. Sadly I don’t get to play with them that often. I need to find techniques to use them other than full out coloring. As much I as love to color, most of the HM stamps are large and detailed. I can spend hours on coloring before I even think about putting the image on a card! Thankfully there are a few challenges out there that encourage me to use my old supplies. I’ve had this stamp for a few years and even colored the image LAST Christmas, it’s about time I put it on a card. I used digital word art from TLC Creations for the inside verse.

Going Blue at the OSSC

Pink and Pearls Thank You

Splitcoast Stampers has a fun challenge each day in October to support breast cancer. I've had fun playing along with them. Today I'm sharing a card that is meant to be a Thank You for a caregiver. I was blessed to care for my mom throughout her cancer journey and spent the last 6 weeks of her life by her side. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else during this time. She told me how much it meant to her to have her only daughter with her and I treasure the days and hours we spent together.
