I used lots of Stickles to bling up my pig and added Crystal Effects to her eyes and hooves.

 I altered my bling by adding Stickles over the top.

 Here's a pic of the bling before (on the left) and after (on the right). The original were fuchsia and I wanted a more sublte pink...but still with LOTS of sparkle and shine.

Love for Honor

Hello and Happy Saturday! I am so excited for this week's challenge over at One Stop Crafts. We are sponsored by the amazing Saturated Canary and got to make 'Love is in the Air' creations. I'm a huge fan of fairy tales, especially medieval times with castles and princesses. I prefer the strong, independent princess, and fell in love with this image called Honor. She reminds me of Merida in Brave. I didn't try to recreate her crazy, red hair; I just went for the general 'feel' of her.I hope you like my card and.....

I really like this hair combo (see the details at the end of my post for all the colors). I used liquid pearls to accent the die cut mat.

I like adding Crystal Effects to the Saturated Canary images eyes. They are always so large and beautiful. The shine helps make them pop. I also added some to her lips.

 Tricky to see,but there's also crystal effects to the arrowhead and I used Stickles on the bow's feather and in a few other spots on the image.

I had fun playing with a cute Bugaboo image for my Christmas Red Stickles creation. I usually print 2 identical images when I'm working with digis. Sometimes I like to add dimension by popping up a piece or two; sometimes I like to try different color schemes; sometimes I think ahead in case I make a mistake; and this time I wanted to try shaggy fur vs. blended fur. I was happy with how they turned out, so I made them both into some quick and easy cards.

All That Stickles Linky Party is Live

I have some SUPER exciting news to share. There's a new blog on the block, All That Stickles, and I was asked to be on the Design Team! Can you hear my WAHOO??? If you've been following me for awhile, you might have guessed I love a 'bit' of sparkle and Stickles have been my go to since I first discovered them. The Design Team is SO excited to share our love of Stickles. I'd love to see you join in our linky parties and if you are Facebook user, like https://www.facebook.com/allthatstickles for more tips and techniques.

Every Saturday at All that Stickles will mark the beginning of a new weekly linky party. Each week we will designate a color of regular Stickles (usually not Distress Stickles, or Ice Stickles, but every once in a while we may throw those in there) and invite you to share projects you've made using that particular color of Stickles!

And don't forget about the prizes! Every month we will have multiple sponsors and multiple winners! Winners are not announced on a weekly basis, but rather on a monthly basis.
