Hello Spring

Hello! Are you adjusted to the time change? This 'spring ahead' thing always kicks me in the tush. Add in working both of my part time jobs and I'm completely out of sorts! The good thing is it means Spring is just around the corner. Over at One Stop Craft Challenge we are getting in the mood with a Spring challenge. Pull our your cheery spring colors, focus on a spring image and join us in the fun!

Thanks for looking! Spicey Cat Chick =^..^=

I used a silhouette image from Bugaboo and added lots of Stickles for bling.
TIP: I used a pre-made card and just added a focal image. It was a plain blue card with the white hello. I always check the clearance section at my big box stores and snap up discounted/discontinued card sets. They are always changing up their inventory of Thank Yous, party invites, etc. You can score some GREAT deals!!!

Love for Mom

Hello! I have a lovely card to share with you today. It's quickly approaching Mother's Day for my UK friends, so we are having a  Mother's Day Card Challenge over at One Stop Crafts this week. Fred She Said is sponsoring us and the DT was able to get creative with some of their beautiful images. I hope you have time to play along this week. That's me and my mom peeking out next to my card. My mom moved to heaven three and half years ago, but she's always in my heart. Her favorite color was blue, she loved butterflies, and her curly haired little girl loved her very much.

ATS Think Spring Blog Hop

Welcome to the Think Spring Blog Hop brought to you by the All that Stickles design team!

The All that Stickles DT is happy to share with you a variety of spring-themed projects created using Stickles, of course! Now that Valentine's Day is over and we're in the final weeks of winter (finally!) it's time to THINK SPRING! :)

If you've come from Tonya's blog, you're in the right place. If you've just come across the hop and would like to start at the beginning, please visit All that Stickles.

For my project, I created a spring color inspired card.
My Creation

I colored my image with Copics and created a dotted border with Liquid Pearls.
I used Stickles to create a sparkly border of my sentiment.
I used Stickles to jazz up the design of my designer paper. I filled in some of the hearts and flowers, and highlighted some of the lines in the plaid pattern. It's an easy way to add texture and interest to your card with very little effort.

OSCC Gets Sketchy

Welcome to Saturday! I hope everyone had a lovely week. My eyes have feasted on some FABULOUS red and pink love creations in blog land for Valentine's Day. I was still feeling the love, but wanted to leave the red and pink on the side. We have an awesome sketch over at OSC for our challenge this week and our sponsor is the amazing Kenny K. I LOVE Kenny's sassy images and used Wanda Wicked on my card. How will you be inspired by this sketch?
Thanks for looking! Spicey Cat Chick =^..^=
