Yowza. Do you ever one of those weekends where you fully believe you’ll have hours to spend on the computer, only to look back on Monday morning and say. “Wow, I didn’t even turn on my laptop; let alone get everything posted I meant too.” That would be how my weekend went. Saturday morning dear hubby, Mr. Gears, had me pushed out the door before the toothpaste spittle was wiped from my chin. We had a wonderful day with family and friends at a 60th Anniversary celebration (card to be posted soon) and graduation open house. It was 1 am before we made it home.
On Sunday I received a call from one of my BFF’s wanting to kidnap me for a day in the Big City with her and her son. Hubby took the older girls camping for the week and she was in need of girl time. I couldn’t resist, and once again spent a full day away from home and computer. This was with Mr. Gears permission as I didn't really want to abandon him on Father's Day; but the six kitties assured me they'd keep him feeling loved.
Okay, enough rambling about my weekend, let’s get on to the card! I had SO much fun making this card and am so proud that I used the more detailed sketch option from the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. I had my Sunday date, Krazey, in mind while I made it as his room is decorated in race cars. The challenge for the week at One Stop Crafts is One for the Boys. The DT was lucky enough to play with images from our awesome sponsor, The Stamping Boutique. The Moose from my last posting is one of their images and this card features AJ The Race Car Driver.

365 Cards Triple Catch-Up
Day 20 ~ Make Some Noise (The bolts and washers jingle jangle when you shake the card; don't tell Mr. Gears I raided his tool box). Day 69 ~ The 3 Ts: Twine, Tree, Triangle (The twine and tree are easy to spy, the triangles are my distressed photo ‘corners’) 365 Cards Day 83 ~ 4 Wheel Drive (I’m rebelling a bit on this one as only 2 of the wheels are showing, but the car obviously has 4 wheels to keep AJ safe).

Here's a pic of my sweet Sunday date, Krazey. He's the little brother to DivaBella and NoisyBella who were featured last week with their respective graduation cards. Krazey is a car fanatic and while his birthday isn't until Novemeber, I kept seeing his sweet smile as I kept futzing on the card. My heart is overflowing as he finally says my name; well kind of. If he wasn't saying MOM during our outing is was NONIE, which I took as Auntie. I am SO blessed.
Part of excursion in the Big City was to the Children's Musesum. We were excited to see there was a special exhibit on the Wizard of Oz (a favorite movie of BFF and me). Here's Krazey going for a spin on the Ms. Gulch's bike.
