Punchy Owl Graduate

Thanks for stopping at my blog! If you are interested, check out my sale page here. I’m cleaning out my Stamping Up sets.

One of my dear crafting friends found this pattern for an owl graduate using punches. During a crafty night get together my creative girls and I went a bit punch crazy. I think I punched enough pieces to make 20 owls. I figured I'd better get at least one put together and on a card before I forgot how it goes! This will be perfect for my graduation stash. The local high school's colors are yellow and black; hence the frequent color combo on my graduation cards.

Hot Diggity Birthday

Thanks for stopping at my blog! If you are interested, check out my sale page here. I’m cleaning out my Stamping Up sets.

I can't believe I haven't shared this exciting news. I've been playing with Copics for a few years now and was SO excited when a certification class opened up in my area. I spent a lovely day with Debbie Olson and Lori Craig learnin the ins and outs of these fabulous markers. Wahoo! I'm officially certified!
This card started out to be inspired by the awesome Kenny K blog hop for their anniversary. I have several Kenny K images and don't get to play with them too often. I need a card for a 9 year old boy and thought this was a fun image. I'm sure he'll love it.

Blinged Out Butterfly

Thanks for stopping at my blog! If you are interested, check out my sale page here. I’m cleaning out my Stamping Up sets.

This card started out pretty clean and simple from a card kit, and then I stated futzing. I added the DP and flourish bling. It's for my Grandma. Blue is one of her favorite colors and we both share a connection to butterflies (they remind us of my mom (her daughter)). Some GREAT inspiration out in blogland right now, I hope you get to play along too.

Sunny Summer at the OSCC

Time for another fun challenge at One Stop Crafts. This week we are sponsored by the always amazing, ever generous, Robyn's Fetish. I was able to play with one of her super sweet images. The theme this week is "In the Summer Time."  Take a few moments to release your summer mojo and play along with us. You could win a great prize at Robyn's Fetish!

I tweaked the sketch a bit, and left off the square in the upper left corner. Hopefully I'm not 'too' far off to fit in wtih the Madness Divas.

Patriotic Star

Happy 4th of July everyone! I've had a great weekend so far with my sweetie and am looking forward to attending a few parades with him today. On Saturday we had date night at the drive in. It was a double feature which meant we didn't get home until pretty much when the sun started peeking out. I was greatly impressed that they played the Star Spangled Banner before starting the movie.
