Fairy Friend

Wahoo for another challenge at One Stop Crafts. This week are sponsored by the AMAZING A Day for Daisies. I love her artistic style and all the images are adorable. There are lots of love/valentine challenges going on right now, so join in the tummy butterflies season and create a card for the one you love.

My Creation
I paper pieced my fairy's dress and wings and then added depth and shimmer with SU markers and spica  glitter pens. TIP: To keep your ribbon ends from fraying, lightly touch them to a flame. The heat melts the fibers and NO more frays! Be careful though or your hard work could go up in flames!

    Your fairy is GORGEOUS...those wings look wonderful! I love the sparkle and shimmer you've added for a Valentine flair. Speaking of "flare" that's a great tip too! My luck I would char the whole thing! LOL
