ATS Linky Party ~ Distressed Stickles Fun

Welcome to the weekend blog buddies! It's time for a new Linky Party at All that Stickles....for the next two weeks we are looking for creations using ANY color of Distressed Stickles. We have some more wonderful sponsors this month. I used an image from the FABULOUS Bugaboo Stamps.
I love their cute characters, but also enjoy their line of silhouette images. I went very clean and simple this week; and even Stickled up some photo clips I had gathering dust.

Thanks for looking! Spicey Cat Chick =^..^=
My Creation
I changed the image to turquoise in Microsoft Word so I didn't even have to get inky.
I put the card together and then added a thin layer of Stickles over the image. At first I tried to not cover the white paisley pattern, but that was impossible. Turns out by using a thin enough layer of Broken China Distressed Stickles, I was able to add texture and shine with the pattern shining through. I added Fired Brick to one of the paisley designs for a surprise pop of color.
I bought these two metal photo clips at Hobby Lobby in the clearance Spring section. They were already lovely, but I thought I could bump them up just a notch. I used Shabby Shutters Distressed Stickles on the butterfly and Milled Lavender Distressed Stickles on the bird. Now they are truly worthy of showing of my favorite snap shots. They are also perfect to display card creations!
I just followed the existing pattern.

  2. I was in fact shocked to look over that this teamed up with a Lexmark,
however I Googled the E210 and it looks nearly identical to the Samsung ML-1210 .
.. So I guess there are some inter-manufacturer resemblances that
    I was not familiar with.
