Sassy Girl

This is a card and 'special' envelope I made as a Thank You to my aunt. She and I have always had a close relationship and since my mom passed, I feel even closer to my aunts. They are the closest thing I have on earth to connect me to my mom. My aunt is a doll collector and has lots of girly touches throughout her home. I knew the image from Sassy Cheryl would be perfect for her. There are a few more photos than normal, so I apologize if I'm slowing you down. :o) You can always click on a photo to see it larger.

The Crafty Pad Challenge #105 ~ Something Girly; Sassy Cheryl’s Challenge ~ What’s Love Got to Do With It This project was made with a heart full of love for someone very special to me.; Corrosive Challenge Blog #100 ~ Reduce Reuse Recycle Both pieces of ribbon/trim were leftovers from other projects. ;Copic Creations Challenge #42 ~ Something New I was thrilled to recently pick up the Mod Retro paper stack and even more so to use it!; Scrap it With a Song ~ Brown Eyed Girl This little girl looks like she's dancing away and the recipient has brown eyes.; Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #51 ~ Bling it Up I created THX with bling and added extra touches to the image as well.; EAC Challenge #126 ~ My Favorite Thing I used a few of my favorite things - DCWV paper, bling, Sassy Cheryl image and the card was sent to one of my favorite people!; Top Tip Tuesday #19 ~ Fabulous Flowers I added a bling center to my fabulous flower to up its power.; Stamping Vacation Lots of Paper Challenge: Paper with Words The paper on the purse has words on it.; 365 Cards Day 311 ~ R U in 2 Txting?; 365 Cards Day 173 ~ Don’t Forget Your Purse Create a purse envelope for your card. If I hadn't added the strap and beaded trim, I could have simply addressed the back of the purse, adhered postage and sent it on. Since my final project was a bit bulky, I sent it in a padded envelope.; 365 Cards Day 328 ~ Saturday’s Word of the Day: Happy My girl is certainly happy and I am always happy when I think of my aunt. ;365 Cards Day 331 ~ Feeling Sassy
