One Stop Craft Halloween Challenge DT Card

Wahoo! It's time for another challenge over at One Stop Craft Challenge! Francesca challenged us to make a creation celebrating Halloween, and are sponsored by Tiffany Doodles, who is providing 10 digi images as the prize. I hope you can come and join the fun. The DT did a GREAT job with their projects. I was luck enough to help my 5 and 6 year old god daughters with their Halloween costumes this week. They wanted to be ghosts, but a simple white sheet wouldn't cut it for these divas. Mom and I found silver glittered white satin fabric and I encouraged them to 'customize' the costume. Be on the look out for 2 glittery ghosts with glitter glue eyelashes and facial features, crayon drawn tattoos, and rainbow ribbon trimmed edges! I can't believe I forgot to take a photo - I'll have to wait until the bewitching day to get them in action.

Photo Inspiration ~ SCS Teapot Tuesday #115

Paper Play Challenge ~ 3 of a Kind I used 3 strips of silver paper and 3 different images (okay, the web is really an inked embossing folder, but it’s acting like an image).
In Style Stamps Be Inspired Challenge ~ Children’s Books I don’t recall if there’s a children’s version of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, but I remember reading it as a kid and LOVING it. It was so spooky and set me up for a love of all reading including more adult horror tomes now.
365 Cards Day 230 ~ Last But Not Least Use a technique you seldom use, for me that would be using metallic inks or white on dark backgrounds.

My Creation

Image Detail
I brushed silver paint over the web (created from an embossing folder).
