Distressed Yet Sweet Reading Fairy

The crafts blogs are all abuzz with the 100th Challenge over at Color Throw Down. It was the perfect launching point for me to get back to my craftivities. I took inspiration from several other blogs and ended up with the perfect birthday card for a special 9 year old. She loves to read and the color pink, I think I managed to pull it together. Enjoy the weekend!

One Stop Craft Challenge #87 ~ Distressing I missed the deadline and wasn't ahead of the game to submit my card for the DT posting. I still like to play along with my awesome DT crew, even if it's a few days late.

My Creation
Image Detail
The middle layer of my flower is punched tinfoil. The top layer is a 'peeled off' layer of the colored cardstock. All 3 layers were punched fromthe same punch. I just snipped the middles a bit so I could scrunch smaller pieces.
