Best Wishes Blues

Happy Birthday to Me! No Fooling, it's really my birthday and very special one at that. My hubby sent me flowers and wrote 'Happy 21st Birthday' on the card. He's a bit off, as I'm proud to be celebrating my 40th trip around the sun. I always thought the perfect April Fool's joke would be to tell people it was your birthday and see what kind of gifts you receive. Thankfully my friends have always been kind and not tried any tricks. I hope your April 1st is filled with happy moments.

I made this card with one of my SU kits and thought it was appropriate to post. It portrays the clean, simple, elegant side of me that seldom appears. I'm much more into being casual, silly and all about fun.

A great challenge over at Flourishes with THREE fab photo inspirations. I fell in love with the 'comfiness' of this photo and used the colors and wall paper design as inspiration.

Inspiration
365 Cards Day 19 ~ Imagine This: Cotton I know you're thinking, huh? How does this convey cotton. When I first saw the challenge I thought of a sheep stamp, but then realized that would be WOOL, not cotton. I pondered for a few days and the idea knocked me over when I laid down to sleep. The COTTON sheets on my bed have almost the same pattern as my paper!

I can't seem to stamp a sentiment straight no matter what. After 4 tries, I gave up. But, when you take tilt the camera it almost looks okay!
