Graduation Gift Pocket

I didn’t really know where I was going with this one, but I am pleased where I ended up! I wanted to create a ‘card’ that could be used to hold a gift card, money or other small gift. The base of my creation was sold as CD envelopes at Target. They had that lovely orange sticker so I snapped them up. I knew they’d work for crafts. The card already has a small notch for the flap to fit into and the inside pocket is secure. One of the challenges I tried to incorporate was on the House Mouse & Friends Challenge blog to create anything but a card. I know this is a S-T-R-E-T-C-H, but I figured it’s more of a gift ‘wrap’ than card. Do you buy that? :o) I’m working backwards and anytime I ink up one of my HM’s, I try to fit it into one of the old challenges. Please see the Ins and Outs for links to the challenge websites.
The Sketch(es)
Typically I only use one sketch for my creation. However, I found 2 similar sketches and merged them for my final card.

Image Detail
I outlined the outfit with an Olive Spica and used my Pink Spica on her nose and lips. I also added a bit of white gel pen to a few spots for highlights.
