Vintage Lady

This was something new for me. My LSS friends gave me a sheet of vintage ladies. I don't think they are print outs, actually from a book of images. I'm not sure if I went a tad over the top with the fibers and glitz, but oh well. A girl can never have too much glitter. I plan to send this to my Grandmother as Happy Mail (Cute Card Thursday Challenge). It's definitely full of texture for A Spoon Full of Sugar's Touchy Feely Challenge and just happens to meet the 3 Clovers Challenge to make a card for a woman including lace. As always, see the Ins and Outs for the links to these challenges. I'd love to hear what you think of this card. Not really my style, but I like to try new things.

  1. Stunning card, love the vintage image! Many thanks for joining in the CCT challenge! Debx

  2. What a stunning image ... a very special card!

  3. What a fun card! I find it really difficult to use images like that, because they tend to need more embelishment than I feel comfertable with. I think you have done a great job with it! A suggestion from me would be to included some of the colours from the image in the background or in the fiber. I think that just a tiny amount of colour would tie it together even more! (I only write this because you asked for comments, I do not want to insult you!)

  4. Beautiful so vintagy - gorgeous image..
