Sunshine & Buttons Graduate

My local high school colors are black, white and gold. Hence the numerous graduation cards I've posted in that theme. I used several challenges to inspire me for this card (Please see the Ins and Outs for links to the challenge websites.)
The Sketch
This is from House Mouse & Friends. I'm slowly working through their challenges and trying to play 'catch up'
Color Challenge
Black & White & 1 Bold Bright (I used Yo-Yo Yellow)
Inspiration
Four Corners (keep embellishments in the corners only)
My Card
Image Detail
I added Lemon Spica along the edges but couldn't get them to show up in the card. I tried to leave my mouse a shade of grey (to stick true to the color challenge), be he looked a bit anemic. I decided he needed a 'bit' of color on his skin and nose.

Challenges: House Mouse #9 ~ Sketch Color Challenge 15 on SCS ~ Black & White & 1 Bold Bright 365 Cards Day 76 ~ Four Corners (keep embellishments in the corners only – i.e. brads, buttons, etc.) The main area should only be paper/images. Stamps: House Mouse The Graduate (Stampendous) Paper: DCWV, PTI White, Computer Generated Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics (E00, Y15, R81, C1, C3, C5, C7), Lemon Spica
Accessories: Buttons, Glue Dots, Pop Up Dots Here's a bonus photo and tidbit from my life. I have seven kitties and they are all HUGE Mama's boys/girls. I'm usually 'helped' quite a bit when crafting. Our youngest two have decided the perfect napping spot while Mom is stamping is between her back and the chair. When I work in the living room I sit in the recliner and use a small table. I stuck a few pillows behind me to support my back; but as you can see the only thing they really support is Dahlia (we call her Dolly for short).

  1. Love the cute kitty photo! And your card is fun, love the different shape you used vs. a circle!
